The Capture Bonaire Photo Contest 2023 – A Symphony of Untold Stories, begins on August 28th, 2023, and ends on September 24th, 2023, at 11:59 pm (EST). Three (3) winners will be selected from online entries received between August 28th, 2023, and September 24th, 2023, at 11:59 pm (EST) and will be announced on September 26th, 2023. Contest is hosted by Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB), Kaya Grandi 2, Kralendijk, Bonaire.
Eligibility: Contest is open to all locals and visitors age 18 and older. Employees, officers and directors of TCB are not eligible to participate in the Contest. Only images uploaded on www.BonaireIsland.com/photo-contest/ are eligible to enter the competition. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
How to Enter: Participants should submit their image not bigger than 5G online at www.BonaireIsland.com/photo-contest/ where they will be given the option to complete an online entry form. Mandatory fields to be completed online include first and last name, email and phone number. By completing the online form for the contest, the participant agrees to receive promotional information from the TCB and its partners.
By uploading content on the website, you agree that you have all the necessary rights and permissions to do so. You also grant TCB the right to re-use photos on social media, on www.BonaireIsland.com and in print/digital marketing activities.
TCB is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or non-delivered entries or for any miscommunication or technical failures as a result of contest participation. Entrants agree that TCB, its affiliates, director, officers and agents are not liable for, and will be held harmless against, any and all claims to injury, loss or damage of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from participation in this contest or from acceptance or use of any prize.
Prize: A total of three (3) prize winners will be chosen. The winning photo will live on the website www.BonaireIsland.com, all social media channels of TCB and may be featured in different marketing related activities.
The prizes:
1st prize: 2 night stay for two at Captain Don’s Habitat
2nd prize: Boat trip with Fun Trips Bonaire
3rd prize: Dinner for two at Zara’s Refined Dining Bonaire
The prize will be awarded in accordance with these Official Rules. Odds of winning depend on photo composition, photo focus, creativity and overall photo quality.
Other expenses and/or services not specified are the sole responsibility of each winner. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted. Prize is not transferable. Each winner is also responsible for further steps of arrangement of their prizes with the company.
Selection of winners: Three winners will be determined on September 26th, 2023 from all eligible entries. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the photo composition, photo focus, creativity and overall photo quality. The winners will be notified on or around the time of the selection via email. Winners will have seven (7) calendar days from email notification to accept the prize. TCB is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winners or for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts of the winners to claim prize.
If the selected winners cannot be contacted, is ineligible, or fails to claim a prize, prize may be forfeited or an alternate winner selected. An unclaimed prize will become the property of TCB.
Winners: Any potential prize winners whose name is announced publicly as the winner of the Capture Bonaire Photo Contest 2023 must show proof of eligibility and qualify for the particular sweepstake in order to accept the prize. TCB is not obligated to select, or publicly announce, any alternative prize winner. By entering the sweepstake, all entrants agree that their registration names may be announced publicly either after or prior to TCB’s notification to them that they are a potential prize winner and either after or prior to TCB’s determination of their eligibility or qualification for, or their acceptance of the prize. TCB reserves the right to disqualify any potential winner if such potential winner is determined to have been ineligible or unqualified.
Participation Agreement: You understand and agree that your content will be publicly displayed and it will not be treated in confidence. In fact, many people from around the world will be able to view your content and, by submitting images to the Capture Bonaire Photo Contest 2023, you provide TCB with the right to use and share your Content on their official Website(s) including but not limited to www.BonaireIsland.com as well as in all of their social media channels including, but not limited to, Facebook, Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter & Pinterest. Additionally, it can be used for any advertising and marketing related activities online and offline in partnership with third parties.
By submitting images to the Capture Bonaire Photo Contest you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) doing business as www.BonaireIsland.com, @TourismCorporationBonaire, @BonaireIsland, @BonaireToerisme agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions. TCB may terminate its Website(s) or its use of your content at any time at its discretion.
