Tourism Corporation Bonaire organizes a great scavenger hunt

August 30, 2023

In connection with Tourism Month

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is organizing a great scavenger hunt for children, in connection with Tourism Month in September. The scavenger hunt will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 10 a.m. until noon near Kralendijk.

Children from 9 to 12 years old can participate. To participate, groups of 5 children must be formed, accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older. The groups that want to participate must fill in a participation form at the TCB. This is completely free. The last day to register is Wednesday, September 13, 2023. After their registration, each group will receive a color with which to participate. A fantasy must be created around that color and there is an extra price available for that.

During the scavenger hunt, the children will visit different tourist and historical places and there are activities related to those places. After the scavenger hunt, the participants receive lunch and a goody bag from TCB.

The group with the most points and arriving within the set time will be the winner of the quest. The winners will be selected in this order: third place, second place, and the absolute winners of the scavenger hunt. Attractive prizes are available and will be awarded during the Taste of Bonaire on Saturday, September 30, when Tourism Month will reach its end.

For further information regarding the scavenger hunt, please contact Angelo Domacasse at telephone number 717 – 8322. Jamienne Melaan, coordinator of the scavenger hunt, can also be contacted by telephone number 782 – 5698.
