Tourism Corporation Bonaire Named Finalist in Routes Americas 2024 Awards

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is pleased to announce its selection as a finalist in the Routes Americas 2024 Awards, a testament to the island’s commitment to enhancing its connectivity, implementing innovative marketing campaigns, and fostering our tourism industry.

The selection came from our airline partners, who recognized the exceptional route development strategies and support TCB delivered the past year.

In 2023, Bonaire experienced a significant milestone with 169,706 stayover visitors, surpassing both 2019 and 2022 figures. This achievement, meeting the set Key Performance Indicator of 170,000 visitors based on the 2017 STMP, marks the island’s third consecutive year of year-over-year growth, signaling sustained progress in tourism development.

TCB’s dedication to improving connectivity has led to notable advancements, including the establishment of new gateways such as Toronto with Wesjet and WinAir, alongside additional frequencies from airline partners including TUI, KLM, Delta, American Airlines, United, and more. These enhancements have not only expanded Bonaire’s accessibility but also enriched the travel experience for visitors.
