Tourism Corporation Bonaire Announces the Winners of the ‘Capture Bonaire Photo Contest 2024 – This is the Feeling You Have Been Searching For’

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is excited to announce the Capture Bonaire Photo Contest 2024 winners. Running from August 23rd to September 19th, the contest received over 500 amazing submissions, each capturing the emotional essence of Bonaire.

Participants were asked to reflect on the theme, ‘This is the Feeling You Have Been Searching For,’ through their photos. The judges selected the top three images that stood out for their creativity, storytelling, and the emotions they evoked.

Winning Photographs:
1st Place:
Winner: Gregory Haley
Prize: 2-night stay for two at Delfins Beach Resort

This photo gave the judges a true “wow” moment, capturing a unique underwater experience in Bonaire’s waters. It showcased the magic of the marine world in a way that felt both breathtaking and serene.

2nd Place:
Winner: Tom Galica
Prize: $150 gift voucher to Pier Dos

This entry brought a smile to the judges’ faces, thanks to the funny grin of a blue parrotfish. Its humor and charm made the image stand out, offering a playful and unique perspective on Bonaire’s underwater life.

3rd Place:
Winner: Claudia Hazewinkel
Prize: 2-hour kayaking tour for two with Mangrove Info Center

This photo gave the viewer a swimmer’s perspective, making it feel as though you were the one in the water. The immersive feeling and connection to nature resonated deeply with the judges.
