Tourism Corporation Bonaire announces its second annual Bonaire Tourism Summit

Theme: World Tourism Day: Re-thinking Tourism

Tourism Day is celebrated every year on September 27th. This year, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) will be organizing the second annual Bonaire Tourism Summit taking place on September 26th, 2022 at the Courtyard by Marriott

After a successful first Tourism Summit last September, TCB will be organizing the second annual Bonaire Tourism Summit which has the aim to bring our active tourism stakeholders and partners together to discuss our branding, air service, marketing and PR strategy moving forward. The theme for this year will be World Tourism Day: Re-thinking Tourism. TCB has invited different keynote speakers and guest speakers that will cover different tourism topics during the Summit.

CEO of TCB, Miles Mercera will present an overview of Bonaire’s Tourism Industry and DATA, TCB’s European Representatives GlobActive will present an overview of the Marketing Performance in Europe (The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany), and the CEO of Bonaire International Airport, Maarten van der Scheer will present Bonaire International Airport Updates.

The guest speakers for this day will be TCB’s creative agency Dunn&Co who will present Bonaire’s Brand Strategy, and also Digital Marketing Strategy. Additionaly, TCB’s PR firm Diamond Public Relations will present an overview of the public relations initiatives in the U.S. and Europe (The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany). Lastly, after the recent recognition of Bonaire as Culinary Capital of the world, Eric Wolf the Executive Director and Founder of World Food Travel Association will discuss Bonaire’s culinary strategy moving forward. There will be a Tourism after 5 Cocktail Hour as the closing of the Bonaire Tourism Summit.
