March 25, 2025
Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) successfully participated once again in this year’s International Tourism Fair (ITB) in Berlin. Jointly with hotel partner Grand Windsock Bonaire, the destination presented itself at the Netherlands stand and attracted a lot of interest from the German-speaking market (DACH – Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
As one of the world’s leading tourism fairs, ITB attracted over 100,000 trade visitors this year, providing the ideal platform to further promote Bonaire as a unique and sustainable destination to travelers and the travel industry. In numerous discussions with tour operators, journalists, and industry experts, the potential of the Dutch Caribbean paradise as a popular destination for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts was highlighted.
This year, TCB was represented for the first time by Nicole Witte, Director of Witte Tourism. Elesiër Angel, Interim Statutory Director of TCB, emphasized, “Participating in ITB 2025 was a great success for Bonaire. The strong demand from the German-speaking market confirms our commitment to further position Bonaire as a sustainable and exclusive destination. We are very pleased with the valuable contacts and numerous conversations that were held, which will contribute to further expanding our presence in the DACH region.”
The success of ITB 2025 will help Bonaire continue on its course to further strengthen the island as a preferred travel destination for the German-speaking market. TCB is already planning further efforts to sustainably increase interest and demand from this region.
A special thank you goes to Grand Windsock for highlighting the accommodations Bonaire has to offer, including their beautiful villas and apartments.
