PROCOLOMBIA and Tourism Corporation Bonaire sign a Memorandum of Understanding

PROCOLOMBIA, the Colombian National Agency in charge of the promotion of Non-Traditional exports, foreign direct investment, international tourism and the Tourism Corporation of Bonaire (TCB), have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to foster cooperation in the international tourism promotion of both destinations.
The MOU aims to establish a formal framework of collaboration between PROCOLOMBIA and TCB to unite efforts around mutually identified initiatives aimed at boosting international tourism promotion for both destinations.
PROCOLOMBIA, as a trust constituted by legal provision for the development of non-traditional export promotion, the attraction of foreign direct investment in Colombia, and the promotion of international tourism, joins forces with TCB, an entity founded in 1991, whose purpose is to attract international travelers to Bonaire.
Mr. Miles Mercera, CEO of the Tourism Corporation of Bonaire, stated, “We are excited about the opportunities this partnership with PROCOLOMBIA presents. By working together, we can enhance the promotion of our destinations and jointly invest in realizing direct air connectivity between Colombia and Bonaire.”
The MOU highlights the commitment of both parties to collaborate in areas such as promoting air connectivity between Bonaire and Colombia, identifying opportunities for exports and investment, providing technical assistance to the business community, exchanging best practices in priority tourism niches, sharing statistical and commercial information, and participating in relevant tourism promotion activities.
