Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) is strengthening its activities in the German-speaking market (DACH – Germany, Austria, Switzerland). As of January 1, 2026, Nicole Witte and her agency, Witte Tourism, will officially take over the representation of the Caribbean island of Bonaire in this market.
With this step, TCB is underlining its strategic conviction that the German-speaking market offers great
potential for sustainable growth. The aim is to further increase awareness of Bonaire, strengthen its positioning as a sustainable premium destination, and increase the number of bookings from the DACH region in the long term.
Nicole Witte has many years of experience in tourism brand development and marketing in the German-speaking market. She has worked for Bonaire in the past, including at international trade fairs such as the ITB in Berlin, and she is very familiar with both the destination and the specific characteristics and expectations of this market.
Elesiër Angel, CEO of TCB, explains: “With Nicole Witte, we are bringing in an experienced and committed partner who has an excellent knowledge of the German-speaking market. We are convinced that together we can sustainably increase awareness of Bonaire and further expand our market position in the long term.”
Nicole Witte is also very enthusiastic about her new role: “Bonaire is an exceptional destination with a strong focus on nature, quality, and sustainability – values that are becoming increasingly important in the German-speaking market. I look forward to strategically representing Bonaire from 2026 onwards and contributing to sustainable growth in this region.”
The representation will focus on trade relations and targeted market development in the German-speaking market.
