Four visitors receive recognition as Bonaire Ambassadors
September 4, 2024
In August 2024, Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) recognized four visitors as Bonaire Ambassadors.
Leo Irakliotis has been visiting Bonaire for 20 years. He has received his recognition in the gold category. “I visit Bonaire primarily because of the island’s enchanting dive sites, but also to relax and visit friends I have met over the years I have been coming here,” Leo assured. On this occasion, a gold pin was presented to Leo.
Roseanne Nandan was very happy when she was honored with a platinum plaque, the highest award as a Bonaire Ambassador. Mrs. Nandan has been visiting Bonaire for 37 consecutive years. “The people of Bonaire are charming and friendly, the nature is impressive, and the food is excellent,” says Mrs. Nandan.
Douglas and Jane Kline were also recognized as platinum ambassadors, but they were unable to attend the ceremony due to health reasons. The placards associated with their recognition were presented at their holiday accommodation.
For TCB, Virgy Balentin and Helen Mercera handled the ceremonies and presented the relevant certificates, pins, and placards to our ambassadors.
