Classical Music Board Christmas Concerts

The Classical Music Board Bonaire’s Christmas concerts have become a household name: beautiful music in a festive atmosphere. On Sunday evening, December 14th, at 7:00 PM, you’ll feel the Christmas spirit in a wonderful concert in the charming San Luis Beltran church in Rincon. At 7:00 PM, you can expect beautiful music in a festive atmosphere from well-known artists from our island: Luis Moka, Bradley Howard, Tiger Frans, Alan Bowen, Claudia Cassier, Marian Passchier en Hans Faassen.
Bradley will perform a beautiful Ave Maria and several other well-known hymns. You’ll hear Bach on a baritone saxophone and a six-handed Hallelujah by Handel on the piano, and we’ll enjoy a “little drummer boy.” The children of the Leerorkest will sing for us under the direction of Lara Chirino, Franklin Scherptong will perform in Rincon, and Rolando Casimiri in Playa. Of course, you’ll also have the opportunity to sing along. We’ll hear classic Bonairian Christmas carols by Francis Domacassé & friends, along with more pleasant surprises, all under the skillful direction of Claudia Cassier. A week later, on Sunday 21 December at 7:00 PM you get the opportunity to enjoy the Christmas music in an compete different setting: the atmospheric main hall of the Plaza Hotel, with its sea views, and the Christmas tree and beautiful music inside.
With partly the same artists and songs, but also different artists, in a crowd dressed in gala: don your festive attire and enjoy a free drink during the intermission. Tickets $ 35, available at Delmar and Lisa.

Why not attend both concerts? Completely different settings, some same artists, some different ones, but both in a festive Christmas spirit.
