Beach clean-up at Washikemba

Saturday July 29 we are organizing a beach clean-up at Washikemba together with Clean Coast Bonaire, STINAPA, A Plastic Free Bonaire, One Hour Clean Up Power and NOBO Bonaire. Washikemba is an important nesting site for sea turtles and has a very high load of litter. This is why it could use a big coastal clean-up, and you can join us! We are meeting at Washikemba at 9.00am.
Bring drinking water or a reusable water bottle, sturdy shoes, sunscreen and all of your friends and come help us clean up. The more the merrier!
We will be trying to use as much reusable bags for the debris as possible. If you have a meshbag that we can use to collect the debris, please bring it with you.
