The Wulff Stenersen family, consisting of Ingrid, Christian, Nicolai, and Thomas from Norway have been visiting Bonaire for 12 years. Nicolai and Thomas were still babies when they first visited the island.
Chuck Shultis from the United States was also recognized; he has been visiting Bonaire for 12 years. Both the Wulff Stenersen family and Chuck Shultis are delighted by Bonaire’s underwater world. They received a certificate and bronze pins.
Michael Graaf, also from the United States, was honored for visiting Bonaire for 20 years. “Bonaire makes you feel at home, even when you are away from home. I fell in love with this island and its friendly residents from the very first time I visited,” Michael stated. He received a certificate and a gold pin.
Liz McGinnis and Serena Ogburn were honored in the platinum category. Liz has been visiting Bonaire for 44 years, and Serena for 45 years; they visit the island three times a year. Serena Ogburn says: “The underwater world is beautiful, the sea temperature is perfect, the people you meet on Bonaire are friendly, and the island has so much to offer.” Liz McGinnis adds: “The scheduled international flights now arriving in Bonaire make the island more accessible from the United States. I have watched this island develop since my childhood; the people are friendly, and the island’s cuisine is fantastic.”
Helen Mercera presented the corresponding certificates, pins, and gifts on behalf of TCB.
