“Bonaire’s Regatta 2024 Announces Headliners: Frenna, Karol G’s DJ BB Bad and Luis Moka”

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) announces the next wave of entertainment for Regatta 2024, headlined by international stars Frenna from the Netherlands, DJ BB Bad, Karol G’s official DJ, and local sensation Luis Moka from Bonaire.

About the Headliners:
Frenna, a multi-platinum artist from the Netherlands, has rapidly become one of the most influential figures in the Dutch hip-hop and R&B scene. Currently, Frenna is the number one known for his smooth flow and captivating performances; Frenna has collaborated with international artists like Tory Lanez and has amassed millions of streams with hits like “Verleden Tijd” and “My Love”. His music seamlessly blends Afrobeat, hip-hop, and R&B, creating a unique sound that resonates with fans worldwide. Recently, Frenna released his latest album, further solidifying his influence in the music industry. His upcoming performance at Regatta 2024 is one of the most anticipated events, set to bring a fresh and exciting vibe to the regatta festival. Adding to the summer buzz, his hit “Pretty Girls” has become the anthem of 2024, racking up over 40 million streams and counting.

BB Bad, most notably known as the official USA & Latin American concert tour DJ for Latin superstar Karol G, is set to bring her infectious energy to Bonaire for the first time. Hailing from Los Angeles, Sint Maarten’s BB Bad has toured globally, electrifying audiences with her skillful mixes of afro, reggaeton, hip-hop, and Caribbean flavored music. Her performances are characterized by high energy and crowd interaction, ensuring that every set is an unforgettable experience. Her presence at Regatta 2024 is expected to be an enjoyable show for music enthusiasts from across the Caribbean and beyond.

Luis Moka, a local legend from Bonaire, will also be taking the stage, showcasing his exceptional talent and deep connection to the island’s musical heritage. Known for his soulful Krioyo melodies and vibrant rhythms, Luis Moka has been a staple of Bonaire’s music scene for years, performing at numerous festivals and events. His band, Palu Grandi, is a favorite among locals, blending traditional Caribbean sounds with modern influences to create music that is both nostalgic and innovative. Moka is celebrated for his hit songs like “Piskado”, “Mi Ta Manda”, “Cha Kimina”, “E Kabritu Ya”, and his latest release, “Loko Pa Stimabu”.

These international and local headliners join an already exciting lineup of artists, including Semii Marten, TSean, DJ Osocity, Icons, DJ Krokz, MC Chris Strick from Curaçao, and Tsunami from Aruba. Local bands such as Payola, Fenty, JC & Friends, FMK, Ritmiko Timon, Foyan Boys, and ESO are also set to perform, making Regatta 2024 a truly diverse and dynamic celebration of music and culture.
