December 22, 2022

On December 22nd, 2022 Flamingo International Airport welcomed the new Bonaire branded Divi Divi plane.

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) launched a new campaign for 2023 with local airline partner Divi Divi Air who has been a valued partner for Bonaire. As of today, in transit passengers to Bonaire are welcomed and transported with a Bonaire branded Divi Divi Airplane.

Divi Divi Air is one of the local carriers that flies between the sister islands Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao, by branding the plane TCB provides current and future customers a chance to take a selfie with the Bonaire Flamingo and inspire visitors from neighboring islands to learn more about Bonaire, and also to give them the Bonaire feeling while boarding their flight to Bonaire. This will also give the island more exposure when other planes land at the airport in Aruba and Curaçao, as they spot the Bonaire branded plane.

Miles B M Mercera CEO of Tourism Corporation Bonaire said: “We are grateful for the partnership and the years of dedication of Divi Divi Air for the island of Bonaire. This is the start of a continued partnership and collaboration with one of our key local airline partners that connects Bonaire with our sister islands.” #Itsinournature

TCB in collaboration with BIA welcomed the Bonaire branded Divi Divi airplane with a water salute and goody bag for the first visitors who boarded the plane.
