Bonaire welcomed 15,717 stayover visitors during October 2025

 Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) has shared preliminary tourism data for October 2025, revealing that Bonaire received 15,717 stayover visitors. This represents a 9.1% increase compared to October 2024, when 14,406 visitors arrived.

Visitors from the Netherlands formed the largest group, accounting for 49.8% of total arrivals, with 7,832 visitors. US visitors were the second-largest group, making up 18.5% of arrivals with 2,905 visitors.

A total of 2,662 (16.9%) visitors from Curaçao visited the island, followed by Aruba with 365 (2.3%) visitors, Belgium with 339 (2.2%) visitors, Germany with 279 (1.8%) visitors, Switzerland with 123 (0.8%) visitors, Colombia with 114 (0.7%) visitors, Canada with 99 (0.6%) visitors, UK with 88 (0.6%) visitors, and Brazil with 83 (0.5%) visitors.

US visitors mainly traveled with a partner, followed by alone. Most came for diving (51.4%), vacation (36.8%), and visiting friends and family (2.4%). The majority stayed at a hotel (59.5%), a villa (8.3%), their own property (6.3%), an apartment (6.3%), or with a relative (4.4%). US visitors primarily came from Florida, California, Texas, New York, and North Carolina. The age distribution revealed that travelers aged 55-64 represented 27.6% of the visitors, while those aged 65 and above comprised 22.9%.

Dutch visitors were mainly accompanied by a partner, followed by those traveling alone. Most visitors came for vacation (66.7%), visited friends and family (11%), and for business (7.8%). Most visitors stayed at a hotel (47.8%), followed by an apartment (15.4%), at a relative (10.6%), a villa (6.8%), and their own property (5%). Most Dutch visitors came from South Holland, North Holland, North Brabant, Gelderland, and Utrecht, with the 55-64 age group (20.6%) and the 45-54 age group (18.4%) being the largest segments.
