Bonaire welcomed 13,606 stayover visitors during June 2025

Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) has shared preliminary tourism data for June 2025, revealing that Bonaire received 13,606 stayover visitors. This represents a 12.2% increase compared to June 2024, when 12,117 visitors arrived.
Visitors from the Netherlands formed the largest group, accounting for 38.7% of total arrivals, with 5,207 visitors. U.S. visitors were the second-largest group, making up 34.8% of arrivals with 4,732 visitors.
A total of 1,965 (14.4%) visitors from Curaçao visited the island, followed by Aruba with 274 (2%)
visitors, Germany with 199 (1.5%) visitors, Belgium with 182 (1.3%) visitors, Colombia with 148 (1.1%) visitors, Canada with 84 (0.6%) visitors, Switzerland with 82 (0.6%) visitors, and Brazil with 61 (0.4%) visitors.
Most US visitors traveled with a partner, followed by alone. Most came for vacation (49.1%) and diving (37.9%). The majority stayed at a hotel (55.6%), a villa (14%), their own property (6%), an apartment (5.2%), or with a relative (3.8%). U.S. visitors primarily came from Florida, Texas, New York, California, and Pennsylvania. The age distribution revealed that mature travelers aged 45-54 represented 21.8% of the visitors, while those aged 55-64 comprised 17.7%.
Most Dutch visitors traveled with a partner and then alone. Most visitors came for vacation (70%) and to visit friends and family (9.4%). Most visitors stayed at a hotel (50.2%), followed by an apartment (14.2%), at a relative (11.2%), their own property (5.2%), and a villa (4.4%). Most Dutch visitors came from South Holland, North Holland, North Brabant, Gelderland, and Utrecht, with the 55-64 age group (21.9%) and the 25-34 age group (20.8%) being the largest segments.
