Tourism Corporation Bonaire (TCB) recently hosted the Miss Universe Bonaire 2026 candidates for an educational session designed to deepen their knowledge of the island’s tourism industry, cultural identity, and strategic vision.
The workshop, held on Wednesday, May 27th, 2026, brought together the three contestants vying for the prestigious crown: Carolina Porras (Miss Antriol), Katherine Montero (Miss Nort’i Saliña), and Vivienne Vollebregt (Miss Kralendijk).
During the gathering, TCB representatives Elesiër Angel and Annette Emerenciana provided the candidates with valuable insights into Bonaire’s tourism sector. The presentation highlighted sustainable tourism initiatives, environmental conservation efforts, and the distinct cultural elements that define the island as a world-class destination.
“As future ambassadors, these candidates have an incredible opportunity to confidently represent Bonaire both locally and internationally,” said Elesiër Angel, CEO of TCB. “This session was not only a great opportunity to equip them with the industry knowledge they need, but it was also a wonderful chance for our team to connect with them personally and get to know the unique strengths they each bring to the table.”
As the official holder of the Miss Universe franchise for Bonaire, TCB remains committed to initiatives that foster national pride while driving the island’s tourism industry forward.
The journey toward the crown will culminate in the highly anticipated Coronation Show on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at Delfins Beach Resort, where one of the three finalists will be chosen to represent Bonaire at the international Miss Universe competition.
TCB extends its best wishes to all three candidates as they prepare for the finale and commends their dedication to representing Bonaire with pride, confidence, and excellence.
